A poster had placked at the entrance to the store after the announcement of the Nice terrorist attack. “From this day, any veiled person will no longer be allowed to enter the store,” could be read on this poster that had been photographed and posted on social networks.

According to “Midi Libre”, the prosecution has opened an investigation for illegal sales and discrimination refusal. The Nîmes justice has also opened an investigation into the threats received by the merchant on social networks.

In addition, the Casino group, owner of the Vival brand, reacted Thursday evening on Twitter and indicated that it had removed the poster while indicating “studying all the sequences to be taken, both on legal and commercial consequences”.

“We had this poster removed yesterday at the start of the evening, as soon as we got to know about it. We condemn it with the greatest firmness. This is a personal initiative, which goes against the values of the brand ”.
