The investigation in Tunisia as in France continues concerning the author of the Nice terrorist attack committed by a young Tunisian clandestine migrant.

According to Mohsen Dali, chief of the information and communication office and substitute for the prosecutor of the Tunis court of first instance, Tunisia will officially ask the authorities of the author of this attack identified as Ibrahim Aissaoui from the French authorities.

“The investigation with the author’s family and his entourage is still continuing,” he noted on France 24.

The public prosecutor near the judicial center fighting terrorism ordered, yesterday Friday, October 30, the opening of an investigation to know the whole truth about the existence of the terrorist group “Al Mahdi in the South Tunisian” and its involvement in the terrorist attack perpetrated Thursday in Nice.

This survey comes after the publication of a demand for social networks by a person claiming to belong to this organization.

The identity of the author of the Nice attack is now confirmed. It is Ibrahim Aissaoui, a 21 -year -old from Thyna, governorate of Sfax.

The assailant, who accosted on the Italian coast on October 6, following an illegal emigration operation, headed for France after having performed around the island of Lampedusa.
