The arrests continue in France after the terrorist attack in Nice perpetrated by Brahim Issaoui.
Four suspects, which would all be Tunisians, were placed in police custody, this Tuesday, November 3, 2020, as part of the investigation into the attack which killed three on Thursday October 29. These four people were arrested in the Val-d’Oise, reports AFP.
One of them, aged 29, is suspected of having been in contact with Brahim Issaoui during his journey between Tunisia and France. He would have done with him the crossing to Lampedusa, then would have transited with him to France.
The other three suspects, aged 23 to 45, were present during a meeting with the terrorist.
Recall that since the attack, six people have been placed in police custody before being released, with the exception of a single suspect, a Tunisian.
In addition, Brahim Issaoui, author of the attack, is still hospitalized and has even been placed in confinement after being tested positive at the COVID-19. A measure that could delay its hearing by several days.
