Even in testing phases, the Emir and Prime Minister of Dubai Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum decided to be vaccinated against the coronavirus.
Indeed, the vice-president and Prime Minister of the United Arab and sovereign Arab Emirates of Dubai, tweeted this Tuesday, November 3 about the reception of the COVVI-19 vaccine, announcing that he was vaccinated against this virus. He thus becomes, one of the first world leaders to be tested by this vaccine.
Without giving more details on the origin of this vaccine, he hinted that his country will be among the first to have it.
In any case, the British vaccine seems to be the most advanced. The Anglo-Swedish pharmaceutical laboratory Astrazeneca had announced good news. His vaccine being developed against COVID-19 led to an encouraging immune response to the patients tested.
A few days ago, the Minister of Health, Faouzi Mehdi, confirmed that Tunisia will be among the first three countries to acquire this vaccine, adding that Tunisia allocated the funds necessary for the acquisition of vaccines.
At a weekly press conference of the Ministry of Health, he returned to the issue, insisting that “Tunisia will be among the first countries to receive the first doses of the coronavirus vaccine”.
“Tunisia has coordinated with the World Health Organization and donors and has mobilized the funds necessary to receive the coronavirus vaccine as soon as it put on the market,” he said.
