Faced with serious information suggesting that the coronavirus would have changed and that a new strain was discovered in England, all eyes are on the effectiveness of already marketed vaccines.

It is in this context that the German Laboratory Biontech, originally with Pfizer of the first vaccine against the COVVI-19 authorized in the world, announced that it is able to provide a new vaccine “in six weeks” in the event of mutation in the virus.

“We are technically able to issue a new vaccine in six weeks,” he said. “In principle, the beauty of messenger RNA technology is that we can directly start to design a vaccine that completely imitates the new transfer,” he added during a press conference in Mainz, quoted by press agencies.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has spoken out on the new strain of the Coronavirus recently discovered in Britain. For WHO even if it is a faster and more effective variant of the virus, “it did not represent a situation out of control”.

The British government announced on Saturday, December 19, the reconfirms of London, southeast of England and part of the East on Saturday, December 19, forcing more than 16 million inhabitants to stay at home and give up the end of years celebrations.

This comes following the discovery of a new strain of the coronavirus which is spread quickly in this country. “A new strain of the coronavirus out of control,” British Minister of Health Matt Hancock said in this sense.

Recall that Tunisia and the two Pfizer and Biontech laboratories had signed a contract for the acquisition of the coronavirus vaccine they have developed.

The first lots will be imported by Tunisia in 2021 after obtaining all the necessary agreements.
