In 2015, when the president of the Tunisian Football Federation, Wadii Jary, had decided to freeze the activities of the National Sports Arbitration Committee (CNAS), he did not suspect that seven years older a minister was going to issue the idea of reactivating this body.
Kamel Deguiche, Minister of Youth and Sports held, today a press briefing during which he launched that an arbitral tribunal of sport was going to be created. A kind of CNAS bis which can be seized by the clubs in the event of a dispute.
In July 2015, during an extraordinary general meeting, the FTF had decided to largely limit the use of the CNAS in sports disputes. These are now reserved for the National Professional Football League and the FTF appeal committee.
Kamel Deguiche now wants to limit the use of the Sports Arbitral Tribunal in Switzerland.
