Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Austria, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and Luxembourg have all decided to suspend the Astrazeneca vaccine by prevention, due to fears linked to cases of blood clot training in several patients.

“Seven European countries, including Denmark and Norway on Thursday, interrupted the use of a batch of a million doses of the Astrazeneca vaccine, sent to 17 European Union countries, after detecting blood circulation problems in several vaccinated people,” reports in this sense several foreign media.

Indeed, the Astrazeneca vaccine is suspected of being linked to blood circulation disorders. This suspension comes “after serious cases of bloody clots training in people who have been vaccinated with the Astrazeneca COVID-19 vaccine,” said the Danish Health Agency, while stressing that “at present, we cannot conclude that the vaccine and blood clots” cannot be concluded.

Austria decided at the start of the week to suspend the vaccine produced by the Anglo-Swedish laboratory after the death of a 49-year-old nurse who died of serious coagulation disorders a few days after receiving it.

As part of the supply work by the vaccines necessary for the fight against the coronavirus in Tunisia and following the obtaining of the Astrazeneca laboratories of the World Health Agreement on February 23, 2021, the Ministry of Health announced, on February 26, 2021, the obtaining of the “COVVI19 Vaccineneca Vaccine” vaccine of an exceptional and temporary authorization to market Tunisian market.

A first batch of 9,3600 doses of pfizer anti-Cavid19 vaccine will be acquired in mid-February and more than 500 thousand doses of British vaccines Astrazeneca will be provided the end of February, said Héchemi Louzir member of the scientific committee for the fight against the coronavirus.
