Eight dead and 26 injured in the collapse of a building in Cairo

Several dead and injured were recorded this Saturday morning, March 27, 2021 in the collapse of a building located in a popular district of Cairo.

According to local media, including Al-Ahram, 8 people died and 29 others were injured in the collapse of the property made up of 10 floors.

The reasons for the collapse and the number of its inhabitants have not yet been officially announced and rescue operations are continuing today.

Note that this is the second drama that occurred in Egypt in the last 24 hours. Yesterday, Friday, two trainers collided, causing at least 32 dead and 108 injured according to a first assessment presented by the Egyptian Ministry of Health.
