In a 124 -page report published this Tuesday, March 30, 2021, the World Health Organization (WHO) delivered the results of its survey on the origins of the coronavirus and favors the hypothesis of a transmission to humans by an intermediate animal.
International experts recently dispatched to China to investigate the origins of the Pandemic of COVVI-19, presented the details of their conclusions, which favor the hypothesis of a transmission of the virus to the human being through an animal (not yet identified) infected with a bat (animal tank).
The report dismisses, however, the thesis of a leak from a Chinese laboratory. Direct transmission of the virus via the tank animal is however deemed “possible to be likely” by experts. They also do not rule out the hypothesis of a transmission by frozen meat -a track privileged by Beijing -, judging this scenario “possible”.
In the end, this report recommends continuing research.
