The national football selection continues its preparation for the World Cup. Yesterday in Doha, Tunisia won against Iran in a friendly match thanks to two achievements at the end of the match of Naim Sliti (85 ‘) and Ali Abdi (90’).
The national coach, Jalel Kadri, said he was reassured about the team’s preparation state a few days before the World Cup.
“It was the last test before the World Cup, and it allowed us to be reassured about the physical preparation of the team individually and collectively,” said the Tunisian coach.
“We noted several positive points and the goal was to give players more confidence and strengthen the homogeneity of the group,” he added.
“We have also tested several solutions, and this allowed us to learn several lessons that we will try to take into account,” said Kadri.
During the first round of the World Cup, Tunisia will evolve in group D alongside Denmark (November 22), Australia (November 26) and France (November 30).
