The cliché is impressive! In the chaos of evacuations following the takeover of the Taliban in Afghanistan, an US Air Force plane which can normally accommodate a hundred people took off with 640 people on board.
They piled up on the CARGO C-17 plane of the US Air Force, while others climbed on board at the last minute when the access ramp was only half open.
The image would date from August 15, 2021 days when the Taliban took control of Kabul, Afghan capital. This photo, broadcast by Defense One, caused a wave of emotion on social networks.
