The story is worthy of a Hollywood film. Six Palestinians escaped Monday September 6, 2021 from a prison in Israel via a tunnel under a sink. A scenario that recalls, in fact, American films and series.
The Israeli prison services said that a first alarm had been launched around 3:00 am (midnight GMT) when residents said they saw “suspicious people” around Gilboa prison (North), where hundreds of Palestinians are imprisoned.
According to images widely disseminated on social networks, we see a tunnel under a bathroom ceramic, at the foot of a sink, by which the prisoners have escaped from this high security prison. Outside the prison, the police located a hole dug in the ground near the prison.
The Palestinians are still on the run, say the occupation authorities, a manhunt has been launched.
