England and the United States qualified in the round of 16 of the 2012 World Cup by beating, respectively, the Wales 3-0 and Iran 1-0, today during the third and last day of the group stage (Gr. B).
England has established itself thanks to three goals from Marcus Rashford (50 ′ and 68 ‘) and Phil Foden (52’).
For its part, the United States has torn off its ticket for the knockout stages by beating Iran thanks to a goal from Christian Pulisic (38 ‘).
England will play its round of 16, next Sunday at 8:00 p.m. against Senegal. The United States, on the other hand, will face, next Saturday at 4:00 p.m., the Netherlands.
