A student killed eight people in a shooting this Monday, September 20, 2021, on the campus of the University of Perm, the city of the Urals in eastern Russia.
Founding in one of the university buildings, he opened fire on the people around him, killing eight people and injuring several others, according to an assessment still being specified.
The author of the shooting was injured during his arrest. His identity was established but not revealed.
Fleeing the shooting, students jumped windows on the first floor of a university building, according to videos published on social networks.
