The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has decided to recall its ambassador to Lebanon for consultations, to ask for the departure of the Lebanon ambassador to the kingdom in the coming 48 hours, and to suspend all Lebanese imports in the Kingdom.
The Saudi news agency reported that these decisions followed what it called “offensive statements to the kingdom issued by the Lebanese Information Minister (George Cordahi).
The agency also quotes the fact that Lebanon has not taken the necessary measures to stop the export of the scourge of drugs through Lebanese exports to the kingdom, especially in the light of the “terrorist” control of Hezbollah of all the ports.
