The works of the Paris Summit on Libya opened, Thursday evening, in the French capital with the participation of the United Nations, Germany and Italy. The summit brings together around twenty heads of state and government including the head of the government of Tunisia Najla Bouden.

He considered that “the current Paris Summit, organized by France, Germany and Italy, comes a few weeks before the presidential and legislative elections in Libya, and it is therefore of paramount importance”.
According to Jerandi, Tunisia has led many consultations with the neighboring countries of Libya and follows this file directly by contacting the Libyan “brothers” on this subject.
In addition, the Minister said that “foreign mercenaries must withdraw from Libya, given the serious threat they represent, not only for Libya and its transition process, but also for the whole region.
