The AS of the Atlas in the quarterfinals are historic. Indeed, the Moroccans achieved the feat of finishing first in their group, which counted Belgium, Croatia and Canada. Opposed to Spain, they never trembled.

Morocco is doing better than in 1986 when it was eliminated by the FRG in the round of 16 following a goal collected at the end of the match and became the first Arab and fourth African selection to access the quarter -finals of a World Cup.
In the quarterfinals, Morocco will face the winner of the round of 16 on Saturday which will oppose Portugal to Switzerland this evening.
