Talan, an innovation and processing consulting firm for technology for 20 years, announces the acquisition of Insum, a Quebec company, recognized for its innovative application solutions and specialist in the Oracle database and the Oracle Express Application Development tool (APEX).

With this Talan buyout accelerates its development on Oracle solutions and thus becomes the world leader in Oracle Application Express (APEX) solutions.

This external growth operation allows Talan to significantly strengthen its position in North America and internationally, within the framework of its “ambition 2024” plan in order to meet the growing needs in digital transformation of large groups and public actors.

As part of this operation, the Insum entity and brand will be preserved, and the team in place will continue its activities. Its leaders will integrate strategic functions within the Talan group and hold participation within the company.

This industrial project is fully part of Talan’s desire to cover the increased needs for innovation and digital transformation of major economic players in France and internationally.

Talan and Insum have been collaborating for many years and this new stage is the realization of mutual trust between our two groups and strengthens a link based on deeply rooted and shared values.

The Oracle solutions market, and more specifically of the Oracle Apex solution, is in very strong growth and constitutes a strategic axis for the creation of value in companies.

Oracle Express Application (APEX) is indeed a low-code development platform which makes it possible to build evolving and secure business applications with first-rate features and which can be deployed all over the world.

“We are very happy that Inum joins the Talan adventure. This project is part of our “ambition 2024” plan in which we have great development ambitions in France and internationally. Insum has high -level expertise, complementary to those of Talan, which will enable our offers to be enriched thanks to Oracle solutions.

In addition, the hundreds of Insum collaborators will now be able to count on the support of the Talan group’s expertise to carry out their projects and flourish in their professional trajectory, ”says Mehdi Houas, president of the Talan group.

“This alliance with the Talan group strengthens our position as world leader Oracle Apex. By combining our complementary expertise, we will be able to expand our playground and improve our support with current and future customers. We have already been working for many years and we share the same values. This integration will allow us to have the striking force of a large group which has nearly 4,000 employees worldwide.

Together, we can carry out major, varied projects, all over the world. We are happy to be able to give ourselves the means to take advantage of the incredible potential represented by the cloud and low-code sector, which will experience dazzling growth in the coming years, “said Michel St-Amour, and Francis Mignault, co-founders, CEO and executive vice-president respectively.
