The University of Heidelberg, in the south west of Germany, was the scene of an attack, this Monday, January 24, making several injured.
According to local police, a man with a “long weapon” entered an amphitheater, injuring several people. The assailant had died, the police announced, without specifying whether or not he had been killed by the police who arrived in number on the spot.
According to the daily Bild, the shooter is committed suicide. According to the DPA news agency, the individual is a student who acted alone and the terrorist track would not be privileged.
