Rumors have circulated, especially on social networks, concerning the suspension of work at the El Menzah stadium and the search for a foreign investor to take charge of the redevelopment.
In this context, the director of the National Sports City, Tarek Ferjaoui, denied these “unfounded rumors”, ensuring that the work “was not suspended” and that the redevelopment of the stadium “has experienced a considerable evolution”.
Ferjaoui said that the contractor in charge of the work is paid in time: “He obtained an advance of 3.5 million dinars. The work will be completed on time or even before. This is a challenge for us ”.
