“The leader of the terrorist group Daesh, Abu Ibrahim al-Hachimi al-Qourachi, was eliminated, during a military operation led by American forces in northwestern Syria,” announced the American president, Joe Biden.
“The American armed forces successfully carried out an anti-terrorist operation in northwest Syria to protect the American people and our allies, and make the world safer,” said Biden, in a statement made by the White House.
And to add: “Thanks to the skills and courage of our armed forces, we were able to eliminate Abu Ibrahim al-Hachimi al-Qourachi, the deach chief”.
“All the American soldiers who participated in this operation are safe and sound,” he said.
“At the start of the operation, the terrorist target exploded a bomb that killed him as well as members of her own family including women and children,” said a senior American official.
Nicknamed “the professor” or the “destructive”, Amir Mohammed Saïd Abdel Rahman Al-Mawla, a jihadist with multiple alias presented by the jihadist group as “the emir” Abou Ibrahim al-Hachimi al-Qourachi, among others, presided over the massacre of the Kurdophone minority of the Yazidis.
