Twice, Argentina led, a double for Messi, and by two France returned thanks to goals from Mbappé. But the Blues cracked during the penalty shootout (4-2).
Under pressure, the Argentines still managed to resume the advantage in overtime at the 109th thanks to the inevitable Lionel Messi. It was without counting on a spell, an Argentinian hand at the 118th which offered a new penalty for France, again transformed by Kylian Mbappé for a hat -trick.
