Will 2022 mark the end of the coronavirus?

Among us for two years, the coronavirus has literally upset the whole world. Paralyzed economies, traumatized societies and bereaved families, this virus really hurt the world.

But it seems that the outcome of the crisis is soon, according to the opinions of specialists.

The member of the Coronavirus Scientific Commission, Jalil Ben Khelil said that the coronavirus is endangered and that the year 2022 will mark its end.

For her, the variants of this virus continue to weaken and that their virulence is no longer disturbing, except that vigilance must always be in order.

In France, the Minister of Health aroused, in this sense, a glimmer of hope by ensuring, in early January that the fifth wave of Covid-19 would be “perhaps the last”. He is not the only one. Several epidemiologists also believe in improving the long -term situation after the current wave.

Same story with Hans Kluge, director of WHO Europe. He who explained that with the omicron variant, 60 % of Europeans could be contaminated by March. What bring the continent closer to an end of pandemic, with a good big boost natural and vaccine immunity.

Moreover, several countries have started to consider a return to normal such as Sweden, Great Britain or Denmark. However, in Tunisia, it is impossible to remove all restrictions linked to contamination by the coronavirus especially to avoid new changes.
