The state of health of Edson Arantes Do Nascimento, known as Pelé, 82, has worsened. The hospital of Sao Paulo where he is hospitalized and his relatives, announced, this Wednesday, December 21, that his state of health required that he remains on site for the continuity of care.
His condition requires “greater care” due to “renal and heart failure”, three weeks after admission to the hospital. At present the state of Pelé still arouses concerns.
Yesterday, the doctors published a press release recognizing a progression of the oncological disease and the need for care to monitor a “renal and cardiac dysfunction” of his patient who suffers from colon cancer.
The triple world champion remains in a classic room and has not been admitted to intensive care, said the hospital.
