The former Chernobyl nuclear powerral was captured by Russian forces, a adviser from the Ukrainian presidency, Mykhailo Podolyak said on Thursday. The site of one of the greatest nuclear disasters in history is indeed in the hands of Russian forces.
“It is impossible to say that the Chernobyl nuclear power plant is sure after a completely useless attack by the Russians,” he said.
“This is one of the most serious threats in Europe today,” said Podolyak.
Russian troops took control of the power plant while the Ukrainian forces tried to tell in vain for this attack.
