The EU accuses Russia of geopolitical terrorism

Between Europeans and Russia it is a kind of new Cold War that sets up. Besides, China has warned against the consequences of a new cold war in the world.

Last twist, this Tuesday, March 1, 2022, the president of the European Council, Charles Michel, who represents the 27 EU member states, accused Russia of “geopolitical terrorism” for its invasion of Ukraine, in a speech in the European Parliament.

“It is not only Ukraine that is attacked. International law, international order based on rules, democracy, human dignity are also attacked. It is outright geopolitical terrorism, “he said.

This position comes a few days after the threat of Russia on nuclear deterrence.

This decision was made following the recent declarations of NATO and the “illegitimate” economic sanctions decided against Russia for its invasion of Ukraine, explains Vladimir Putin.

“I order the Minister of Defense and the Chief of Staff to put the Russian army deterrent for a special alert regime for combat,” said Vladimir Putin during an interview with his military leaders broadcast on television.
