An emergency telephone line for foreign students wishing to leave Ukraine

The Ukraine Embassy in Tunisia announces, in a statement published this Wednesday, March 2, 2022, that the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs set up an emergency telephone line for foreign students wishing to leave this country at war after the invasion of Russia.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces, in this statement that “the Ukrainian government remains in close contact with diplomatic missions and consulates of foreign countries to ensure that their citizens are in security and able to return to their country as soon as possible”.

He also indicates that “all control points on the western border are open 24 hours a day. The checks and registration operations have been simplified as much as possible and the list of documents necessary has been minimized”.

“In Ukraine, there is no discrimination founded
on race, skin color or nationality ”

And to specify “that in Ukraine, there is no discrimination based on race, skin color or nationality, including when it comes to crossing the state border. The approach at first arrival first served applies to all nationalities.

In accordance with international humanitarian law, priority is given to women and children. All men, Ukrainian and foreign nationals, pass checks and registration operations after women, children and the elderly.

All people on the border are requested to respect public order and act responsible for the light of the difficult situation. This will allow the national border guards of Ukraine to speed up the process of passing border. (…).
