Scheduled today, Tuesday November 23 at 8:30 p.m., in the Africart cinema room, the opening of European cinema days changes course, willy -nil!
Last -minute theater stroke: the management of the cinema has withdrew without providing a valid reason, thus leaving in disarray the organizing committee of the JCE, chaired by Adrianus Koetsenruijter.
After planning a Belgian 3D film, whose title is “the extraordinary trip of Samy” to the Africart room, which remember, is the only cinema, for the moment, to be equipped with 3D equipment. The JCE move.
The opening will now take place in the Le Colisée cinema with the screening of another Belgian film, but not in 3D, of course, “Les Barons” by Nabil Ben Yadir.
To the chagrin of the Tunisian public, who was delighted to watch a 3D film, the annoyance has given way to the enthusiasm. And that is not a first!
It is to wonder if there would not be a curse which fell on Tunisian moviegoers as to the 3D films! We will not forget the twist that was held in Carthage during the famous projection canceled, at the last minute, of the flagship film “Avatar”, following “pretended” technical problems …
And of course, the organizational management forgot to warn the spectators and continued to sell the tickets!
How can we claim to want to encourage Tunisians to return to the cinemas when these same rooms are still not equipped with 3D materials.
2011 points its nose and we have only one room “in”!
