A mosque in which 80 civilians had taken refuge in Marioupol, port in south-eastern Ukraine, was bombed by the Russian army, said the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs this Saturday, March 12.
“The mosque of Sultan Souleiman the magnificent and his wife Roxolana in Marioupol was bombed by the Russian invaders,” said the Ukrainian MAE in a tweet. “More than 80 adults and children take shelter there, including Turkish citizens,” he added, without specifying when the bombardment had taken place.
