The draw for the Club World Cup, took place today at the Mohamed VI football complex in Salé.
This draw took place in the presence of the presidents of the International Football Federation (FIFA), Gianni Infantino, and the African Football Confederation (CAF), Patrice Words.
Seven clubs will participate in this edition scheduled from February 1 to 11 in Rabat and Tangier, namely the Wydad Casablanca, winner of the CAF Champions League 2021/22, Al Hilal SFC (Saudi Arabia), winner of the AFC Champions League 2021, Al Ahly d’Egypt, finalist Sounders FC (USA), winner of the Champions League of the Concacaf 2022.
It is also the Brazilian formation of CR Flamengo, winner of the COPA Libertadores 2022, of Auckland City FC (New Zealand), winner of the Champions 2022 League of the OFC (Oceanian Football Confederation) in addition to Real Madrid, winner of the UEFA Champions League 2022.
