Tunisia – Ligue 1 (2nd J.): Hope and Monastir neutralize

The second day of Ligue 1 delivered four balanced games and some twists and turns in the standings.

Es tunis and US Monastir separated on a 1-1 draw. Abderamane Konaté opened the scoring for the east in the 20ᵉ minute, before Youssef Abdelli chores for the US Monastir in the 68ᵉ. Visitors even touched the transversal in the second half.

AS Marsa won its first victory of the season by beating US Ben Guerdane 1-0 thanks to a goal from Ahmed Hadhri in the 78ᵉ minute. Es Metlaoui confirmed his good start to the season by winning 1-0 on the field of AS Soliman, Ahmed Ouled Bahia marking in 72ᵉ.

Finally, Olympique de Béja and AS Gabés finished on a virgin score (0-0), without succeeding in concretizing their opportunities.
