After its elimination in the first round of the World Handball World Tour which takes place in Sweden and Poland, the Tunisian Handball selection will continue its participation but by competing in the president’s cup.

This cup is used to determine the classification of nations ranging from 25th place to 32nd. Tunisia will thus try to keep its 25th place in the world ranking, acquired during the Egyptian edition in 2021.

Let us recall that Tunisia was eliminated from the World Cup yesterday after its defeat (21-34) against Denmark, double title holder, in match counting for the 3rd and last day of the preliminary round (group H).

Tunisia, which also drew with the Bahrain (27-27) and conceded the defeat before Belgium (29-31), ends in 4th and last place with 1 point on the clock.

In the President’s Cup, the national seven will face the selections of Algeria, Morocco and Macedonia. Here is the program B program in the president’s cup (25-32nd place):

1st day (January 19)
Algeria – Macedonia (3.30 p.m.)
Morocco – Tunisia (6 p.m.)

2nd day
Algeria – Morocco (3.30 p.m.)
Macedonia – Tunisia (6 p.m.)

3rd day
Tunisia – Algeria (3.30 p.m.)
Macedonia – Morocco (6 p.m.)
