Two other journalists, the Irishman Pierre Zakrzewski, cameraman journalist of the American channel Fox News and Oleksandra Kuvshinova, a Ukrainian journalist, were killed on Monday, March 14, in their vehicle by shots, near kyiv, announced the chain today.
Pierre Zakrzewski died from his injuries as well as a “fixer”, Oleksandra Kuvshinova, while the British journalist Benjamin Hall, who accompanied them, was injured and remains hospitalized.
Their vehicle was targeted yesterday in Horenka, near kyiv, by shots, specifies a press release from Fox News.
The war in Ukraine has so far made five journalists killed. On March 1, a Ukrainian journalist was killed in a strike in kyiv. An American documentary maker, Brent Renaud, was killed last Sunday in Irpin, on the outskirts of the Ukrainian capital.
