The National Museum of Bardo is accomplishing its moult. For more than a year, extension and redevelopment work has been going well and should be partially completed in July.
The official inauguration of the New-Look Museum is scheduled for the month of March 2012. The results of this restoration begin to be visible with a new monumental entry where the mosaic of the triumph of Neptune will be placed.
Elevators are also being installed as well as light wells creating a new atmosphere.
Like all museums, the Bardo commemorates on May 18 the International Museum Day. While waiting to find all the collections in a renovated space!
