Led by Abdelhakim Belaid who is also the president of the organizing association, the Maraya El Founoun festival (Mirror des Arts), welcomes a cycle of shows and an important conference in the coming days.
This edition, which will take place from August 15 to 24, will also offer an art exhibition for plastic artists Ali Znaidi, Imen Belhadj and Marouen Allane (Palestine). Likewise, a tribute will be paid to the memory of Fredj Chouchane during the annual conference which, this year, will focus on the theme of the relationship between cultural policies and artistic expressions in public space. In addition, the festival organizes an important poetic meeting which is registered in the program and will see the participation of a dozen Tunisian and Palestinian voices.
Offering a plural program, the Kalaa Kebira festival will host several artists. The opening will be musical with this evening, a concert of the whole Arab world of the Maestro Abderahmane Ayadi. The next day, August 16, an artistic evening will be dedicated to La Palestine, guest of honor of the festival. The program will continue with singer Afifa Aouini then an evening with Seif Mayouf. A theatrical performance will take place on August 19 with the admission, a creation by Mohamed Ali Said. Al Ghanja, a cycle of songs and stories will be on the boards on August 20, while singer Sonia Ben Abdallah will host the closing evening on August 24.
With her summer festival, Kalaa Kebira is about to live for several highlights to the delight of local communities.
