A rocket shooting, which hit Kramatorsk station this Friday, April 8 in the morning in eastern Ukraine, left 50 people, including five children, according to the latest assessment of Ukrainian security services. A hundred injured are also deplored, the Ukrainian authorities say.
“The occupants struck Kramatorsk station (…) where thousands of peaceful Ukrainians were waiting to be evacuated,” said the Ukrainian president, before accusing Russia to “cynically the civilian population”.
French President Emmanuel Macron denounced an “abominable attack”.
For his part, the head of diplomacy of EU Josep Borrell “firmly condemned the blind attack” of Kramatorsk station.
“This is a new attempt to close the ways of evacuation for those who flee this unjustified war and cause human suffering,” he said.
