Emmanuel Macron was re -elected President of the Republic on Sunday by obtaining 58.2 % of the vote against the national rally candidate, Marine Le Pen (41.8 %).
Abstention is estimated at 28.2 % up 1.9 points compared to the first round and 2.7 points compared to the second round of 2017 (25.44 %), report several French media.
