The Grand Prix of Tunis of Para-Athletics continued yesterday with the 2nd day during which the Tunisian athletes distinguished themselves by winning 15 medals after the 8 medals won during the inaugural day.
With a total of 23 medals (10 gold, 7 silver and 6 bronze) at the end of the 2nd day tests Tunisia took over the head of the medals.
Yesterday, the Tunisians won 7 gold medals, won by Maroua Brahmi (Massue “Club Throw”, F32), Hamdi Ouerfelli (disc, F37), Samar Ben Kaalab (Weight, F41), Rouay Jebabli (1500m, T12), Najeh Chweya (1500m, T12), Bechir Laakoubi (1500m T46) and Walid Ktila (800m, T34) of which it is the second gold medal after the one that is up on the first day in the 100m (T34).
The second day was also marked by 5 silver medals, won by Bochra Rezouga (disc, F55), Wejhene Aziz (Weight, F46), Raja Jebabli (Weight, F40), Mohamed Nidhal (800m, T53) and Achraf Lahoual (1500m, T12).
