The 14th and last day of the first phase of the Ligue 1 championship delivered the last verdicts. In group A, ES Tunis finishes in the lead while the Sfaxian CS qualifies at the Play-Off. The CS Chebba is demoted in Ligue 2.
This last day was intense in emotions. The Sahel, leader throughout the competition, was beaten by the Bizertin CA in Sousse and thus gave way to ES Tunis.
The Cabistes, for their part, winners in Sousse, were eyeing the play-off but saw their route barred by the Sfaxian CS, winner of the CS Chebba, who is demoted in Ligue 2.
In the end, the CSS, the CAB and the ST were disputed the last qualifying place in the play-off and the advantage returned to the southerners on the basis of direct confrontations.
In this group A, is obtained 4 bonus points; The Star, 3 points; US Tataouine, 2 points; and the Sfaxian CS, 1 point. The Bizertin, the Tunisian stadium and the Hammam Sousse will compete in the play-out.
In group B, the Monastirian US regained his head after his victory in Réjiche and the draw of US Ben Guerdane against AS Soliman at home. The o. Béja bowed at home against the African club. These four teams are qualified at the play-off.
AS Soliman, O. Sidi Bouzid and ES Métlaoui will play the play-out in the company of the three other teams in group A while AS Réjiche will accompany the CS Chebba in Ligue 2.
