At least six people were killed and twenty-four injured in a shooting on Monday in the northern United States, during a parade for the American independence party.
The shooter, suspected of having opened fire, is on the run and the festivities were suspended in Highland Park, a opulent city north of Chicago, and in several surrounding municipalities, according to the police. “We help the Highland Park police after shots on the parade road,” tweeted the Sheriff’s Sheriff services.
A weapon was found, while the shooter suspected of having opened fire around 10 am local time is still on the run and wanted. He is described by police as a white man aged 18 to 20.
