The Star found a replacement at Mohamed Mkacher in the person of Faouzi Benzarti.
The Etoile Sportive Etoile Sports committee of the Sahel announced on Tuesday evening via its Facebook page, to have reached an agreement with coach Faouzi Benzarti to keep the reins of the first football team until the end of the current season.
Faouzi Benzarti thus replaces Mohamed Mkacher, who decided to throw in the towel. This is the seventh time that Faouzi Benzarti has taken control of the first team with which he was crowned champion three times in the past.
The Etoile du Sahel had announced a week ago to have ended the contract which linked it to Mohamed Mkacher, by mutual agreement on the sidelines of the elimination of the Stars of the Eighths of the Tunisia Cup on February 19.
Tomorrow, ES Sahel faces the Sfaxian CS in Sousse as part of the 1st day of the play-off.
