The 2012 Carthage Festival would have everything to please
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

According to the press release made public by the management of the 2012 Carthage International Festival, the shows will arise under the sign of a classic aesthetic principle: “please” and “instruct”. Thus the programming of the next edition is part this year in “a clear vision which takes into account the freedom of the creator and the need to furnish public space by various cultural and artistic expressions”, underlines the same press release.

It was specified that this 48th edition will be able to take advantage of the wind of freedom that is blowing over the country. If so, we could add that the extremists do not play the spoilsports. The selection criteria established by the organizers revolve around quality and creativity. Personalities known for their skills have been invited to look at programming to ensure the balance between the different artistic expressions (music, dance, song, theater, cinema, etc.).

From the same press release emerges the will of the organizers to succeed in the difficult equation which consists in offering quality shows without them being “too expensive” and “too elitist”. In any case, we will be attentive to the coloring that the next Carthage festival will have under the Ennahdha era.
