The first days of the Judeo-Tunisian heritage will be held on May 11,12 and 13 at the Tahar Haddaa club, at the Medina, Tunis, in collaboration with the Dar Edhekra association, the House of Memory. Its purpose will be to present the Jewish culture and art of Tunisia as an integral part of the national heritage.
There will be on the program an exhibition of photographs, daily handicrafts, handicrafts from local crafts, works of art, music and literature. This exhibition aims to make visitors known to this culture several times a millennium, honored for the very first time in Tunisia.
A round table will end the days. Its subject will have “art and culture in Tunisia, the story of an internal plural” and will be animated by eminent figures of the world of literature, sociology, journalism and cinema, such as Albert Memi, Colette Felous, Serge Moati, Nouri Bouzid and many others.
