The head of the French government Elisabeth Borne, announced this Thursday, August 4, that an “Ambassador to LGBT+ Rights” would be appointed “before the end of the year”.
It also announces “the creation of a fund of three million euros to create ten new LGBT+ centers”.
According to French media, this future ambassador will coordinate the action of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs for protection against discrimination and the promotion of LBGT+ rights in the world.
