Tunisia condemned the raids led by the Israeli occupation in the surrounded Gaza Strip, which have made several martyrs including children, in addition to ten injured.

Tunisia called, in a press release, published this Friday, August 5, by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the international community to assume its legal and ethical responsibility, facing the Palestinian people. It insisted on the need to ensure international protection, capable of opposing the crimes of the occupation.

“It is necessary to put the means to prohibit the occupation from behaving as a force above any prosecution and defying on international agreements,” said a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Tunisia has renewed its commitment to supporting the Palestinian people, calling for ending the occupation and allowing the Palestinian people to have their own independent state with Al Quds as capital.

Yesterday, the Israeli army bombed the Palestinian enclave, killing ten people, including a 5 -year -old girl and one of the heads of the Islamist movement, announced the local health authorities, who also lists 75 injured.

It is the worst confrontation between Israeli forces and the Palestinians, since the eleven day war in May 2021, which had killed 260 people on the Palestinian side.
