The emirate of Charjah (UNITE Emirates) has started 4 days of work per week. An experience that turned out to be conclusive.
According to a study by the Executive Council of the Emirate of Charjah, the newly implemented work system has contributed to an improvement in certain number of indicators linked to the work environment and the productivity of employees.
The study has shown that road accidents and generated deaths have decreased by 40 % compared to the first quarter of 2021, in addition to a decrease in serious injuries, reports the Official Emirati Agency (WAM).
The new work system has helped improve the financial performance of government agencies, according to financial analysis and the comparison of expenses and income and other financial factors.
This 4 -day work system has also led to a decrease in greenhouse gas emissions, including carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide.
