Khalil Jendoubi won the silver medal at the big Taekwondo China Championship in the less 58 kg category.
Khalil Jendoubi, silver medalist at the last Tokyo Olympic Games, won in the semi-finals against Korean Joon Jang (2-0) before being beaten in the final by Korean Hoo Hyek Jung on the 0-2 score.
As a reminder, the Gantoussi Firas champion was unlucky in the tournament and left competition in the quarterfinals after being eliminated by an Iranian player on the score.
