The Russian Interior Ministry announced, today Monday, September 26, 2022, that at least nine people, including five children, were killed and 20 others were injured during a shooting in a school in Ijevsk, in the center of Russia, according to information relayed by Le Figaro.
The police said that the shooter committed suicide without giving further details on his state of health or his motivations.
Among the 13 deceased people, are two security guards of the school, two teachers and five minors, said the Russian investigation committee, based on preliminary data.
This assessment is likely to be revised upwards after a previous assessment had reported nine victims.
