The Tunisian media magnate Tarek Ben Ammar and his group Quinta Communications has just saved the Eclair laboratory from bankruptcy, a historic institution of French cinema.
This laboratory which dates from 1907, saw the production of the greatest works of French cinema pass.
With the support of the French State, the action of Tarek Ben Ammar made it possible to recapitalize the Eclair group up to 12.4 million euros.
By ricochet, this is good news for Tunisian cinema which is distinguished in France. Thus, after Kechiche’s Palme d’Ochiche, here is Tarek Ben Ammar to help the help of the French film industry.
