One of the most famous figures of the Muslim Brotherhood in the Arab and Muslim world, the theologian and preacher Youssef al-Qaradhawî, died, today Monday, September 26, 2022, at the age of 96.
Born September 9, 1926 in Tanta, Egypt, he joined the brotherhood in the 1940s, which earned him imprisonment several times, to be fallen from his nationality later and end his life in exile in Qatar.
Al-Qaradhawî is the founder of “the union of Muslim scholars” so disparaged through the Arab world particularly.
